- I have been married for almost four years to my wonderful husband, David. We married in 2006 on the exact date that we met five years earlier. We have three fur children named Maggie, Frankie, and Merlyn that we adore and have spoiled rotten! Two years ago we decided to start trying for our first baby. The journey wasn't easy but in January we found out that God had blessed us with a baby due to arrive in September!! We found out in April that it was a girl and in the exact same day we also found out that our sweet baby has a Congenital Heart Defect. It has been quite a ride ever since but we are so thankful that God has called us to be Caroline Grace's mommy and daddy. I not only started this blog to keep family and friends updated on Caroline's progress but also with hopes that by sharing her story I will bring more awareness and support to families dealing with CHD babies. We can't wait to begin this new chapter with our special little one. I hope you will come back often to see how Caroline is doing. God Bless!
